MALTA, Marsa: Veterans attend the ceremony for Anzac Day on April 25, 2016, in Malta.The Wreath laying ceremony takes place on the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during World War I. Thousands of wounded Australians, New Zealanders, Canadians and English were sent to the tiny Mediterranean island for care during the Gallipoli campaign. ANZAC stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps.
